Committed to Compliance
Aroma NZ Ltd is licensed by the New Zealand Ministry of Primary Industries (MPI).
MPI audits Aroma for export to Europe, Australia, Japan, China, Canada and the USA. Aroma also adheres to the Fish Exporting Licensing Regulations 1982 and the Fish Export Premises Regulations 1995, by holding licences for Fish Export License No. 167 and Fish Processing Premises LicensePH35.
Compliance with standards is administered by official government inspectors from New Zealand’s Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries (MAF). These inspectors examine the premises and monitor the processing operations on a continuing basis.
Being in the food processing industry means that all employees have responsibilities related to health & safety and quality. The entire team is aware that their actions can impact the outcome of the products and materials. This is made apparent through stringent induction and on-boarding processes.
Supply Chain
In addition to our compliance practices, all incoming raw materials are strictly selected to ensure the highest-quality produce is used in production. This ensures that we harness the natural occurring marine ingredients of New Zealand and share it with the world.
We also have our own mussel farms in the Marlborough Sounds, guaranteeing stable supply-channels. This vertical integration from farm to production ensures we can prioritise quality over all else, because, without it we don’t exist.
Not only do we take pride in the selection of raw materials, but we also hold strong relationships with customers. We are a trusted supplier of delicate nutrients to various companies across the world.
